Families will receive timely GPS-based text alerts for pickup and drop-off events — sent directly to your mobile phone or supported device. No apps, passwords, or logins are required.

How does AST-Alerts work?
AST-ALERTS uses GPS-based technology to send text message alerts directly to your mobile phone or supported device when:
- The vehicle is approaching pickup
- Your student has been safely dropped off at school
- The vehicle is approaching afternoon drop-off
No apps, passwords, or downloads are required.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Enrollment is automatic. If your student is eligible for transportation, you will begin receiving alerts.
Can I reply to the text message?
No. AST-ALERTS messages are automated and cannot be replied to directly. If you need assistance, please email: AST-ALERTS @assistedtransportation.com
What information is included in the alerts?
Pickup Alert (Home):
- Vehicle number
- Student first name
- Estimated arrival within 15 minutes
- Pickup address
School Drop-Off Alert:
- Student first name
- Drop-off time
- School location
Afternoon Drop-Off Alert (Home):
- Vehicle number
- Student first name
- Estimated arrival time
- Drop-off address
Can more than one person receive alerts?
Yes. Multiple contacts per student can receive alerts, making it convenient for parents, guardians, or caregivers.
What if I want to stop receiving alerts?
After receiving your first message, you may opt out at any time by emailing our office. You may also request to resume alerts at any time.
What if my arrival time changes?
Arrival times are based on GPS estimates and may vary slightly due to traffic, weather, or route adjustments. Alerts are designed to provide advance notice so families can prepare.
